Terms of service
Welcome to Fruity Licious. By purchasing our products, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Nature of Products
At Fruity Licious, we pride ourselves on delivering fresh, farm-to-table fruit. Please understand that:
- Natural Variation: Since our products are grown, not manufactured, there will be variations in size, shape, color, and sweetness.
- Seasonality: Availability is subject to harvest conditions. If an item you ordered becomes unavailable, we will contact you to offer a substitution or a refund.
2. Freshness & Handling
Because our products are highly perishable:
- Immediate Inspection: Customers are responsible for inspecting the fruit immediately upon delivery or pickup.
- Storage: Proper storage (refrigeration, humidity, etc.) is the customer's responsibility once the product is handed over. Fruity Licious is not liable for spoilage caused by improper handling after delivery.
3. Return & Refund Policy
To maintain food safety standards, we do not accept physical returns of produce. However, we want you to be happy:
- Reporting Window: Any quality issues must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.
- Proof of Issue: To process a credit or replacement, you must provide a clear photograph of the damaged or spoiled product and your order number.
- Resolution: At our discretion, we will provide a replacement, a store credit for your next order, or a partial/full refund.
4. Delivery & Pickups
- Accuracy: It is the customer's responsibility to provide a correct delivery address.
- Unattended Deliveries: If no one is home to receive the fruit, we will leave it at the doorstep (unless otherwise instructed). Fruity Licious is not responsible for theft or weather-related damage (heat/frost) if the package is left unattended.
5. Limitation of Liability
Fruity Licious shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our products. Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the items in question.
6. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time to reflect changes in our business or legal requirements.
A Tip for Fruity Licious:
Since you're dealing with food, I recommend adding a small "Storage Guide" card inside your boxes. This helps reduce "spoilage" complaints by educating customers on how to keep their fruit fresh longer.
Would you like me to draft a friendly "Freshness Guarantee" blurb that you can put on your website's checkout page or on your packaging?
